yeah....i don't want to burst anyone's bubble...but consider me a doubter. I think we would have heard something about this before now. Remember how we all knew about that Popmart DVD back in like March?

there definatley is a wiff of too good to be true about it. Only time will tell. Personally, I think it won't happen. Who knows . . . .
  4. Anyway, I don't really know if I'll buy it. The bootleg pro-shot of Paris already exists, you can buy b-sides on iTunes (and I have already Streets single, so it's double useless for me) and my copy of Joshua Tree is correct (no low volume and no edit between One Tree Hill and Exit). The only thing that would change my opinion would be unreleased demos of JT (no b-sides or Unreleased and Rare).

But we don't know if they will release this...

I'm a sucker though. I'd have to buy the super duper deluxe version

The point is that ithink that it was NOT recorded by U2 but by a French TV. Nevertheless, I would buy it of course. However the quality is, it is (would be?) THE JOSHUA TREE. Anything else to say?

I agree that it was a French TV broadcast which makes it slightly less onvincing that this will happen. When watching broadcasts (Buenos Aires, Dortmund etc) they just don't have the same feeling or class as proper official recordings
  8. I just watched the Paris broadcast again and it's just awesome. Highlights for me are the stunning performance of Exit, the Big Man on stage during Electric Co (just like the Vertigo Amsterdam III show) and Bad ofcourse! I would be more than happy if we get an upgraded version of this brilliant show...
  9. Hello, don't forget that they also played a second gig in Paris a few weeks earlier. This was an indoor gig at Le Zenith on 15 June. It might be that concert that they're going to release.

    3. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
    4. MLK
    5. The Unforgettable Fire
    6. Bullet The Blue Sky
    7. Running to Stand Still
    8. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    9. Exit
    10. In God's Country
    11. Trip Through Your Wires
    12. Help
    13. Springhill Mining Disaster
    14. Bad
    15. October
    16. New Year's Day
    17. Pride
    encore:
    18. Party Girl
    19. Sweet Jane (with Maria McKee)
    20. Gloria
    21. With or Without You

  10. by the way: Does anyone knows what happend during With Or Without You?? All of the sudden Bono stops singing and start to talk to some people in the front rows...He says 'nobody gets hurt in a U2 show' and something like ' Tear gas, I thought there were enough tears in this song'. Hope somebody can tell me more about this incident...

Let's hope this one is the right show!

That's not it, they have loads more.

dude i love hamish hamilton i think he does such a great job at filming them. Slane is like the best presentation of U2 ever recorded.

But the last two totally agree with, i mean i was listening to pop the other day. Brilliant record. Love the experiments and stuff. And ya i would love to see a half-way decent version of homecoming on the next tour.
