  1. hey all!!!!!

    leg 5 of the vertigo tour was insane was it not? i had the most amazing couple of weeks running around after the band, and it was wonderful!

    now im after some kind of video from brisbane. ive seen whats on youtube already but there isnt much there. is there a full video availiable for this show???

    the main reason im after this show is that appart from brisbane being where im from, this was the show bono took my fly goggles during zoo station and wore them for the whole of the fly! id really love to be able to relive this on video

    also, if anybody has any pictures from zoo station/the fly from that night, id be greatly appreciated! send any of these to reavesy@hotmail.com

  3. nothing listed over on achtungbootlegs so either there is no full video available of the show or else it's being kept in safe hands and hasn't surfaced yet (the 3rd Sydney show only surfaced recently so who knows).   5. thanks alot for looking around, ive been in and out of the U2 internet forums for afew years now, but ive had a big break since the tour and im only just getting back into the loop!

    yeah ive got afew pictures from the show that people have been kind enough to send but the more the better

    thanks alot for having a look for me lets hope it surfaces! i remember hearing a rumour not long after the show that it was taped. i dont suppose adelaide or either auckland show has surfaced on video?

    I would find it hard to believe if these shows weren't recorded. But like I said, it was only a few months ago that the final Sydney show surfaced on DVD. The 5th Leg is desperatley lacking DVD's. I'd love one of the Saitama shows but alas, we've only got whats on youtube.

    That would rock if Adelaide or Auckland were filmed. I'd grab it no matter how crappy it was.

    One Tree Hill from Auckland was filmed which is on U2torrents - that's it though.

    Australia and New Zealand 2006

    2006-11-10 - Sydney (incomplete because of heavy rain)
    2006-11-13 - Sydney (complete thanks to YouTube shots)
    2006-11-19 Melbourne (five songs only)
    2006-11-17 Melbourne (Pearl Jam and U2)
    2006-11-25 - Auckland (One Tree Hill only)

    I have read in numerous places that likely 2006-11-24 from Auckland will show up because of a tape done there. Only amateur but better than nothing methinks. I think wait six or so months and something will come up, surprise us all. As well if I remember security was very tight - at least here in Adelaide anyway. Not too sure about Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

    I hope this is sort of what you're after. That's so cool about the glasses, how funny is that. We meet so many people on here who one of the band members takes something of theirs or you see them on the videos. Pity nothing has shown up from Japan yet except the Asahi TV broadcast.

    You would think so indeed. I wished they used the Aussie shows for the whole of the 3D movie. Bono's voice was soo much better but I suppose the enthusiasm of the South American is no bad substitute
