Depends, the refurbished U2 iPod photo 20GB is $US199. You get a year warranty. Or go Creative, Zune or something similar.
  3. How the hell did you do album art? I paste it and it disappears on me.

I grab it from google images and stick them all in a folder. Hilight all the songs in a particular album and hit 'get info' then hit album art. Then simply paste the album art into the box and hit OK

Thanks for the info mate! I'll defeniteley have a look around the internet for that one.
  6. Check out www.store.apple.com for where I saw it. You'll have to change the location from US. You could also do a search on eBay and maybe go down to your local store (not Apple) and see about it. There's likely to be anything from 5GB to 250GB.

With Cover-Flow, it works.I just deleted the existing songs from the iPod, coped album art to the originals stored in iTunes and then re-copied those over. I now have a working Cover-Flow!

  7. my ipod played up last night. Kept powering down after 2 seconds of playback then turning on then off then on . . . . . . .. Had to restore it which meant deleting all 4500 tracks and loading them on again. It only took an hour which wasn't bad though and it now works properly again

That's extremely odd. If it does it again I'd be returning it.

these things come with the purchase of an ipod. The hiss is the most annoying thing still

You've still got hissing? Man that's bad.

    I'd check the headphones.

I have decent headphones. Thats the problem. Even if I pause the music I still hear the hiss so it's definatley not my music files
  12. Then it's only one of two things.

Bad wiring inside, remember who makes these things.
The iPod itself is defective because it shouldn't hiss when it's paused.
