1. Got the HTC Evo today (I'm actually using it right now)....very satisfied. Definite upgrade from my Blackberry.

  2. Good phone definitely...HTC's doing very well. They've also announced the Thunderbird.
Here is a teaser of Android 3.0 that just came out...tho it seems to be ONLY for tablets, the Motorola Xoom will be running it:

Still not interested in tablets Gerard?
  3. I am DEFINITELY all against tablets. Big, uncomfortable and risky to take out...

  4. So you are even more against netbooks/notebooks? They're bigger, more uncomfortable and more risky to take out.

  5. Will be available for mobile too, I guess..in due time. I wonder which of the two won't surive, tablets or smartphones? They're actually the same. The Galaxy Tab is like a giant smartphone.

    Yeeeppp.

Moreover, there's my "nothing can equal the beauty of a book" feeling, so notebooks are my biggest enemies!
  7. Still not tempted. The market is going to be flooded for the next 12 months. I only see Apple and possibly Samsung coming out with a bit of market share at the end. Not my cup of tea though.

  8. Netbooks aren't. It's these massive capacitive touchscreens that do the damage. I bet the warranty won't cover drops either.
  9. Got another question - I have about 180 CDs I'd like to re-rip sometime this year. If I was to do the entire lot to FLAC how much space might that take up?

My current rips are about 14GB so far at 192kbps MP3.
