Symbian was shrinking but Nokia have killed off their highest market share OS and replaced it with the lowest market share OS.
It's gonna be a year at least before we see a device too. Just give me PR 2.0 for my N8 before it kicks the bucket.

What do you have against Android by the way?

The OEMS mainly. They all got lazy and just throw Android into sub par hardware to increase profitability. It's resource heavy and the battery life rarely impresses. Updates aren't guaranteed by the manufacturer and will take months to be released if they do.
I also just didn't get what all the fuss was about when I was using it either.

I'm dreading the search for a new phone when the time comes. It will go a little like ''which Android slab do I want? iPhone hell no and no thanks to limited WP7''. I'll buy a Nokia E72 I bet.
