I'm happy with android but not particularly in love with this Desire S, I could find myself swapping it for another Android device (no idea which). A mini Galaxy S 2 would be perfect.

Oh Gerard, been away for too long and the last time I checked this topic you had a Nokia. Now an Desire S and thinking about a Galaxy S2? Good choice. My brothers owns one. Light at hand and very fast.

He had the Nokia N8 until last week, when he obnouxiously gave it to his girlfriend. Bastard.

  3. Haha bastard it is! But why this sudden move from Symbian to Android?

And I like my money You don't have a very large income being only 15 years old.¨

Also, if the external hard drive would crash, I'd lose everything. I don't think all discs would 'crash' at the same time.

Yeh the 15 yr old me would be getting DVDs too and they are more robust like you mentioned
  5. Desire S experiment over. Back to N8.
  6. Anyone here know a good way to start a mailing discussion list?
  7. Any website buffs know of a way to auto-refresh a page? For example, when on U2start following a show on the thread, is there a way to pop open the java/script for the page, copy and paste in some sort of refresh code, and have my connection refresh the site every 15 seconds to keep up with the conversation?

I know nothing about formatting a website so I have no idea if this is at all possible...could be a cool idea for an add on, too, if you (U2start) can manipulate it from your end and make it something a user could toggle on and off (Auto refresh by : __ seconds).

I don't like the idea of implementing the auto-refresh ourselves... it can be a pain in the ass for our server, specially on show nights when a lot of users are connected at the same time...

Nevertheless, it can absolutely be done - although I think it can be done by you as a third user and not the web programmer, I don't find the way...
