1. Do you think it's nice to surf the net with? Play any games on it?
  2. I've done banking and a lot of searching on it and sometimes it's hard to get back from people!!!

At first I was thinking can I play movies on it besides YT videos, but a lot of sites seem to be making their videos iPad-compatible which is great - I've seen so many old movies on it I'd not seen in ages or at all before (managed to see Walking The Dog from 1966 in it's black-and-white glory).
  3. How much hard disk does the iPad have? Not that I'm interested (in any way!), it's just pure curiosity. And yes, I'm too lazy to google it, any problem?
  4. Comes in 16, 32 and 64GB.

    I went for the 32.
  5. Thanks

16 GB? Hehehe... Like the iPod Touch I found on the street a few weeks ago. I erased all its content, repared its jack connector and replaced its touchscreen and BOOM, I've got a new & gorrrgeouzzz iPod Touch for 13$ I've completely stopped listening to music in my phone, the iPod is so much of a better music player than any phone. It's also great for listening to bootlegs since it allows gapless playing - I love that. Yes, you can guess that I had never got an iPod (of mine! I had borrowed some old ipods for days or weeks) before
  6. So it was a busted one and you fixed it for that much? Nice!

Anyone know how to get this iMessage working?
  7. Yes, I did. Someone had lost it. It was password-protected so I could virtually do anything with it (I wouldn't have minded to return it back; I've never been an Apple fan and I wasn't tempted at all by the Touch - but I simply couldn't know whose was it). It had a broken screen and the audio jack didn't work properly. I bought replacements for both parts, repared them, and now I've got an almost brand-new iPod Touch for a total fee of 13 dollars - which is amazing. And it's an awesome gizmo.
  8. That's cool - it'd probably have only been thrown away anyway. May as well use it if you can eh. And they are pretty cool.
  9. Drew, create a contact of me with my email (deleted) and then write to me on iMessage. That should get it working for you.
  10. I would if it let me activate iMessage.

Edit: It works now. The solution for me was to - and this is so weird, I had to do this with my iPad too now I remember to activate Facetime - add 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 in the iPod DNS settings. Seriously, like that was obvious. WTF. Now I can add people.
  11. Ah I see... Is there an icon for it?
  12. Tried to add your email address and it says 'This address is not registered with iMessage.'. I'm lost.
