It all hinges now whether I can be bothered redoing all of my music and podcasts etc. It feels one update away from being properly good. I'll keep with it for a while though. Have to hit the marketplace hard tonight.

Looks a decent enough phone, I would've stuck with WP7 for a bit longer if I could have activated it. I was running an unofficial version on my HD2 so without activation I was limited to just the basics (no market, no live integration) - whilst I was impressed and it was a massive change from W6.5 it just couldn't pull me away from Android 2.2 (Desire build).

I think over time it will continually get better as will Android. iOS seems to have been stuck in the same mould for years now, with just the odd new feature added with each release.
  2. My problem is that I like premium (or at least very good) hardware so that means paying more. But that then means all the cheaper devices have pretty much the same functionality as you do but for 50% of the cost. Plus I though the apps were mostly of poor quality, and the OS was resource intensive.
  3. I now want a Lumia 800. I wasn't meant to like WP7!

Buy the Mozart. . . . don't like it. . . sell it for what you paid and save the £350 quid you would have paid for a Lumia. That was the original plan anyway.
  4. I secretely want the Lumia 800 as well. Prices are already below 400 euro's. In two months i hope to pick one up for 350.
  5. Or another WP7 phone in that price range

I need amoled. Can't stand the LCD on this HTC. Deeper blacks and better contrast would make me like WP7 that little bit more.

Podcast support needs to improve before I can use it full time though. Stupid hoops need to be jumped through to get them working acceptably.
  7. I never did something with podcasts so i wouldnt know. I basically just need whatsapp, but I dont like sluggish phones.

Minimum hardware specs and a locked down OS means that WP7 isn't laggy. It isn't super fast either though but that seems to be intentional. Every tap or navigation through the OS is done with a transition that always seems to be a millisecond too long for me.
  9. Hmm i hate slow transitions :S hope they are / will be tuneable.

Hopefully. They are all very nice to look at and they are nice and smooth but ever so slightly slow
  11. Yeah they are nice the first hour, and to show to friends, in all other cases they should be minimal and fast.
  12. The Mozart is to be sold. Going to go all in and get a Lumia 800. I need amoled. Will wait until closer to payday though.
