  1. Can anybody help me? I would like to buy an IPOD/IPHONE DOC, what brand would you recomend for good sound? I dont want anything too big.. Just to fit on bedside table? Some information would be fantastic, thank you, U2 starters..
  2. Well, I have good experience with Bose docking stations but they come with a price tag. Definitely worth it though.
  3. Bose, I will look into it, thankyou, I was thinking Philips, because I was not sure of the other brands, some of them sounded cheap and fragile. Thank you.

  5. Logitech, Grundig, Sonos, Sangean, Sony, Noontech, Vers, iHome, Yamaha, JBL, Altec, Microlab, Philips, Harman Kadon, Jamo, but no Bose. I will look it up.
  6. Almost bought a 32GB iPad (First gen) today for £199. I resisted though.

  7. I couldn't have turned that down. Could have tried it for a month and sold it on for the same price if you didn't fancy it. It's a massively fun piece of kit.
  8. True about selling it on. My girlfriend has the same model and doesn't use it much but she lives away from home these days because of work. I'd like a tablet to take on the train and to replace my laptop for general stuff around the house. Short on money at the moment so I had to pass up the opportunity. The iPad is pretty much untouchable in the market, sure there are great alternatives but I don't think anything is as solid as an iPad.

    Sharing an iPad would be a nightmare. "Can you just type your password in? I need to update an app, that you downloaded."
  9. The password thing is a nightmare. I've started to regret not getting a 3G model. I can tether from my mobile but that usually wrecks the phones battery. I'm still waiting on the novelty to wear off. I haven't been near my pc since I bought it either which is a sign of how good it is.
  10. Yeah, my girlfriend's laptop soon started collecting dust. That's what I'm hoping for. I'd much rather be typing this off an iPad rather than my phone. And I'd rather use an iPad for entertainment purposes than my laptop.

    When I get a bit more money (when my brother pays me back) I'll probably bag myself one. iPad 2 is much sweeter, but it still carries a price tag.
  11. £289 for a refurb from apple is about the best it gets for a 2. It is a lot but you will get your money's worth. Have ordered a cover and it better hurry up. One drop and this thing is a goner.
  12. Isn't it sturdy enough to stand a few drops and scratches? The iPod Touch has proven itself to be a damn tough piece of shit, it's drop off my hands onto concrete floors a good bunch of times and it's still mint.
