  1. It really was, it also mocked the UK court, I'm actually glad that the court ordered them to redo it.

    Yeah, that was my dilemma, so I hoped anyone could recommend a very good model...


    Well, it's too soon to judge Win 8 models, but I guess stuff from Samsung, HP and Dell should be fine. I would go with a Dell myself. This one seemed nice:

    And if it is a Macbook, not much to suggest there, just choose the size and go with it.

  3. Yeah, I'm sure more and more of those will be available. Might be a good plan to wait until my laptop completely dies.

    Although, the folding screen might not be that useful. So unless it is really thin and light-weighting, I would use my iPad. However, a laptop with touchscreen is great...
  4. I'm just curious how the real Win 8 performs on tablets, their weight and their endurance.The Windows 8 RT edition is much more limited and does not give you the opportunity to install any windows apps as we know them now.
  5. I like the look if the surface and Windows 8 in general. It's good to see a new approach to UI rather than static grids of icons. The Surface as a device seems awkward though with the 16;9 ratio. It just looks too damn tall. Throw in the lack of certain apps that I specifically bought the iPad for then its unfortunately a non starter for me. It looks like I'll be on the iPad for good which is annoying as Ape won't change it. A retina MacBook pro would be immense but ye cost is too much and I wouldn't use it to its full potential either.

    Still want to try a Nexus 7.

  10. 900 that late? Windows Phone 7.5 / 7.8 will probably miss new apps. WP8 apps are not backward compatible. Although WP7 apps run on WP8.
