1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA you drunken beloved bastards
  2. Yea the 4 would definitely need to be sheathed. The GNex took plenty of drops but when you are drunk they seem to drop in the most perfect of ways to break. I'd get another but the design is showing it's age. I hate touchwiz on Samsung and the lock button being on top of the HTC One is a no no. Leaves only the Nexus 4. Might get away with the 8gb version too keeping the cost down. Google Play music streaming has been working well.
  3. One drop and the Nexus 4 is broken. The first time it was dropped, it done this double flip on its side then landed on the screen. There were two action points coming from the side where the screen had cracked. It is an extremely fragile phone. The back of the phone is also glass so that can crack too.

If it does smash, the cheapest repair is Carphone Warehouse for £79.99 or you could do it yourself for £60.
  4. AMOLED screens are way to expensive. They are pretty but I don't think I'll buy another OLED Screened phone. I'll keep an eye on the N4 prices. There is no other phone that I fancy though I am looking forward to this budget iPhone. Doubt it will be cheap though.

I'm sick of my oldie-but-goldie Toshiba A300 shutting down when it gets a little hot and I couldn't be arsed to diassembly it in order to change the thermal paste, so a new one was the way to go.

I don't need anything fancy and I just want it to be as light as possible and usable for my online job, so I've gone for an HP Sleekbook 15-b102SS. I chose a sleekbook because I don't use CD/DVDs too often/anymore, so I could live without the extra space that the disk player needs. This laptop is stunningly thin (only slightly thicker than a usb port) but the specs are pretty amazing for the price: AMD A4-4355M at 1,9 GHz proccessor, 6 GB of RAM, 500GB of HDD, AMD Radeon HD 7400G, USB 3.0. All of this fitted into a machine that's 2 cm wide and weighs 1.9 kg. And for 350€ new.

Only downside is that it will come with Windows 8 so I need to work out a way to install Windows 7 from a USB stick.

Just arrived. This thing is STUPIDLY thing and light. Now, let's mess with Windows8...

  6. That's one messy unboxing pic there sergio
    Looks pretty nice tho

Nice choice! That thing is unbreakable! What do you find most frustrating on WP8?
  8. Lack of banking apps, terrible podcast apps, terrible notifications and still well below par multitasking.

  9. hahaha the excitement!!

I'm loving/hating Windows8. I wish I could get rid of some of the annoyances and stick with the awesome parts. Oh well I will get used to it I guess.
  10. W8 is faster than W7. I dont use the metro apps, but i do like the Start / Search screen. Just press win-key and start typing, in W7 this worked but in W8 it works better imho.

  11. Currently holding the new Nexus 7 which arrived today. Beautiful device that has the finest screen I've seen on a tablet, an even quicker processor, lighter and thinner device, all for £199 (which I actually got for £149 because of Tesco). It shits all over the iPad Mini. It is everything the iPad Mini aspires to be. Google have really thrown a cat amongst the pigeons here – what a terrific tablet.
  12. Sergio, I know you have a Nokia cellphone and I'm considering buying one since my Sony X8 is almost useless. Any pros or cons I should know?
