I thought that was The Edge there!
  2. The phone seems great, but when I look at pictures of iOS 7 I can't help but feel that its looks would never have passed the eye of Steve Jobs.

  3. More like Elvis Costello

I agree with Olof, I don't think OS7 (or at least its look) would have been approved by Steve Jobs - let alone designed by him.
  4. Stock price 3% down. They must get some negative press at the 5C pricing. Mugs will buy it though so what to we know.
  5. They've tried to replicate Android too much this time.
  6. I couldn't care less what they've they taken inspiration from. iOS is incredibly boring visually, so I welcome the change.
  7. Once the visual aspect has been debated... Any notable differences/improvements performance-wise? I honestly haven't read much about it, just seen some tweets and that's all

    I'm reading now.

    www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/iphone/10300495/Apple-iPhone-5S-and-5C-fingerprint-sensor-and-plastic-make-iPhone-5-debut.html

Not much besides the previsible proccessor improvement and some nice, but pretty lame features like the fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone and a few others. Not impressed.
  9. Well that's typical of Apple. You could skip three hardware releases and miss nothing.
  10. All very underwhelming but that has been true of iPhones since the 4 was announced. Will no doubt continue to sell in crazy numbers though. Looking forward to iOS7 landing though as I have been needing am excuse to try a Nexus 7.

  12. What's wrong with the pricing is that, Apple would usually release a new iphone and then reduce the price of the previous one by a 100 USD. So, if things had gone as before, it would have been iPhone 5S and iPhone 5 being sold 100 bucks cheaper.
But instead they released the 5C which hardware-wise is the same as 5, except it's made of plastic, and are selling it at their usual 100 bucks cheaper price - it feels like they just increased their profit margin instead of making a cheaper device :-/
