Originally posted by drewhigginsI've never done it on a Mac before but apparently here's how you'd do it:
On Mac OS X, go to Utilities (in the Applications folder) and open Terminal, then run (for Firefox):
* /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -safe-mode
Okay, I got this window that says:
Firefox is now running in Safe Mode, which temporarity disables your custom settings, themes and extentions. You can make some or all of these changes permanent:
Disable add-ons
Reset toobars and controls
Reset bookmarks to Firefox defaults
Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults
Restore default search engines.
I really don't care about extentions or bookmarks, should I just select them all?
