  4. Do you know what system restore gets rid of (as far as software)? I know it gets rid of files. For example, does it delete my wireless router settings, or IE?
  5. Now the start menu bar and desktop icons just go away and pop back up every 30 seconds or so.

    Okay, that's weird. I'd be taking it to somewhere to show them and see what they can do, or if need be, reinstalling / repairing Windows. When did it start happening?
  7. When I turned it on after making my last post on this topic. But don't worry. My friend is giving me his old (Dell w/ Vista Home Premium... Nice!!!) computer because his parents purchased him a 20" MacBook Pro. Thank you, for your help sooo much though. It was really nice of you giving me that much help. I wasn't expecting a turn out as elabrate, clear or as helpful that. Thank you. Even though I didn't go through w/ the whole opperation . Thats only because I was always not at home. I always get on about 20 mins before I hit the hay. Good night! ... that smily is yawning, right? Lets just pretend.

    Take a look at HydrogenAudio.org and also make sure you download ColumnsUI or PanelsUI to do any of that cool skinning and transparent stuff, and the latest is 0.9.5.2. I liked that skin (it was Remy's custom one) but I never got round to asking him about it.

    The default ColumnsUI looks nice on it's own without being too distracting.

    Also for Apple iPod classic owners: firmware 1.1.2 is up in iTunes if you want it. Nothing seems to be really new or different, so why it's 50MB+ I don't know. I think the 3G nanos can update as well - but iTunes will let you know what's the go.

  12. Just downloaded 1987-12-19 and all the files are read-only, so it won't let me add artwork or rename anything in iTunes. Anyway to override this?
