    of course you can find examples for both theories. But we are not talking about really 'limited' in this case. Everyone can get a copy if he wants to, there's no limit now, because it will only be produced and shipped early next year. Of course there will always be a secondary demand for people who for some reason can't or don't want to subscribe but are still interested in the present. That number probably will be a bit higher than usual, because there probably will be no u2.com presale, and people might be less eager to resubsribe. So for 2019 you will have higher (secondary) demand and less supply because there will be a lot less additional accounts. That's what makes a price.
  4. so, I agree with you that it will be harder to get next year's present on the secondary market, but I don't think quality is the main reason for that, certainly not the only reason.

    I'm skeptical of how much of this will be the Paris shows from 2015 and how much of the e+i will be Berlin. Hopefully they do a good job of not including too many warhorses and go with performances from all over the world not just a few shows.
    No performance of Acrobat from the whole tour has had Edge playing the chords on the correct timing, he plays them 2 bars late (or ahead). Always.

    If they follow the U22/Edge's Picks trend, well, that included songs from all over the world (literally, because unlike the IE/EI tours, 360 did reach most of world)!

    So sorry to hear you are not seeing the option to renew to get the newly announced 2019 gift!

    The option to renew is available 30 days prior to the expiration of your membership.

    No worries, the new gift will still be available when you are able to renew

    so that means i have to wait till september 2019

    Or you can just cancel your account now, subscribe fresh (paying 10 bucks extra) and get it in Spring. I knw many who are going to do that I never saw this madness about a U2com gift before.

  12. Go and check now, I renewed earlier and still had 50 days to go, wouldn’t work when I tried last night but they must be letting you do it now.
