1. Spoiler (click to toggle)
  2. Does anyone have a high-res copy of the Songs Of Innocence + Experience gift cover art?
  3. U2songs is your best bet.
  4. Hi everybody)
I live in Belarus and as I understand it my bonuses for sending a subscription are not sent to my country ... ((
I wanted to issue for $ 85, but alas, I did not find my country in the list of countries for sending, nonsense .. (
Although the neighbors: Poland, Ukraine, Russia are sent without problems.
I wrote to the technical support of the site, but for a couple of days there is no answer ..
  5. Trailer in 360p...
Nice foreshadow of the DVD Quality
  6. I got a little tired of blaming the gift.
And the reason why is that I see the gift as a nice extra of what a membership of U2.com should be.

For me, the membership should be about getting advantages to purchase tickets for U2 when they tour.

But most of all, it should give you extra content and newsflashes about the band. Some things that I am thinking of when I talk about extra content are:
-Shows that never been physical released to download. Maybe not in the best quality, but I think that subscribe to U2.com shows you’re a dedicated fan. I think that a lot of dedicated fans are really happy to hear this.
-More news. And not only the headliners. But why not hype your band with footage of the band in the studio?

What I am trying to say is that IMO the discussion should not be about the gift. But about the way the official online community is organised at this moment.

I really think that the U2 fans deserve more than what we are getting now. And I really think it’s a shame that fansites like U2Songs and of course U2Start are doing a way better job than U2.com. Even without having official acces to the band and their productions.

And by shaming the gift we all getting distracted by the real problem. The official online community of U2 is a shame for the band.

And when they would fix that problem, I think the gift would be a nice extra to anyone.
  7. I'll be honest, all my U2 concerts on my home system are my rips from the DVD's. I never got a blue-ray player, have a 10 year old TV, and all is good.

    Red Rocks
    JT Paris
    R&H
    ZooTV
    Mexico Popmart
    Boston
    Slane
    Chicago
    Milan
    Rosebowl
    I+e Paris

They're still awesome. They still look good. They still sound good. It's usually on in the background anyways, so sound is secondary. And it's enough to keep me until the next U2 concert - I've been sober for coming up on 3 years in June

Yes! You nailed it! ☝️That’s what it should be about!
  9. Maybe it should be.

Some of the gifts have, I think, been great. Some pretty meh (Duals, 3D....snoooze) On non-touring years they better be good. I like the new gift.

How about redirecting all the negativity and whining. Maybe petition the band and ask for access to old shows rather than being a bunch of whiny twats?
