  1. This is one of the sounds of the album. It must be. I looked up continuum keyboard on YouTube. The person was Jordan Rudess or something. Compare that with the No Line On the Horizon demo we've all heard toward the end. Plus this song just fits with that instrument. This could be that new sound. So this means one thing now. I've gotta buy the Indiana Jones soundtrack to "furthur" my research (some of you might find a few puns in here).

    One word:
    phenomenal

    would be cool if they do something with it...
    and edge is capable of playing almost everything, so if they took the time (and they do) than he can develop his playing of the machine

    Many Will See And Hear..

    But there's one negative point..that machine sounds like some weird guitar. I hope Edge won't change his guitar-work for this machine all the time. Anyway, we'll see...it does sound awesome, but weird.

    "That machine" has no sounds of it's own...it sounds the way you want it to sound. It's simply a MIDI controller.

    If you have patience: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_controller
    If you don't: it's like having the keys of the piano and not having the strings, you can put the keys on any piano, they will be the same keys, but it will sound different. So you can make the continuum sound like a guitar, like a piano, or like a drumkit, it depends where you plug it on.

    This new album now has a central sound, sort of. Edge refered to this album as dense. Yes, the sound on Pop was dense, howeva...

    Lyrically, this album will be dense. Maybe, I'm just guessing. 'No Line On the Horizon' seems to justify this. We kinda have an idea of what the sound could be like. I'll wait for the Indiana Jones Soundtrack, which may or may not be a good example. Perhaps that video with a killer bass line and Mitch Michell style drumming? Bono can do his business, and deliver what could be one of the most meaningful lyrics in U2's history.
