This new album now has a central sound, sort of. Edge refered to this album as dense. Yes, the sound on Pop was dense, howeva...
Lyrically, this album will be dense. Maybe, I'm just guessing. 'No Line On the Horizon' seems to justify this. We kinda have an idea of what the sound could be like. I'll wait for the Indiana Jones Soundtrack, which may or may not be a good example. Perhaps that video with a killer bass line and Mitch Michell style drumming? Bono can do his business, and deliver what could be one of the most meaningful lyrics in U2's history.
"Everything You Know Is Wrong"
Watch More TV"
So Far...
No Line On the Horizon,
No line between the earth and sky
I'm All Alone
Hold me close
Hold me, kiss me, squeeze me, kiss me, squeeze me
Alone
I'll teach the world Love
No Line On the Horizon...

If you don't: it's like having the keys of the piano and not having the strings, you can put the keys on any piano, they will be the same keys, but it will sound different. So you can make the continuum sound like a guitar, like a piano, or like a drumkit, it depends where you plug it on.

Roooooxaaaanne (sorry, been listening to the song lately)...NLOTH has not been released, we know it's the name of one of the new songs (it was mentioned in an interview) and some fans have recorded parts of it outside the studio...but it's hardly audible, nothing that fancy!
