  1. I think we have about 10 more years of U2 as the band we know it as today. After that they may perhaps still work with music(especially the edge), and bono would still work with all his projects. Maybe some best ofs albums with an extra new song or two. Maybe ?

  6. wow, for days I come online and see new replies in this topic, hoping for news on the album... but there never are is this topic still about "news on the new album" or has it turned into a general discussion about how long U2 are stilll going to be here?

    welcome to the site. Thats just how people around here do things. I'll be working on an actual News on the new album topic that is just for news. This topic has went to the dogs

    I totally agree though. I don't like the subject matter being talked about here any more than you do. I come on here to check if there's news when this topic is active also but all I find is people talking about the end of U2.
  10. Just post a new topic call it New Album: News Only , and rename this one to New Album & The Future of U2, or something like that.

    EDIT: BTW Gerard, you're right about the stuff you said in the 'pets' topic, the place is getting very un-U2y...I find less interesting topics each day, which is the reason for me posting so little these days...(no offense to anyone of course, and I love you mark! )

  12. it has, there is nothing wrong with the conversations (even though some of it would fit very well in GC), the problem is that I check this topic for actual news when I see it on the actives, and there is so much unrelated stuff, I have to check a few pages back and forth to make sure I'm not missing on anything...I'm not lazy, it's just that I'm very busy these days, an "Actual News" topic would come in very handy!
