bad quality but...
Too much trance isn't good, but I really don't hope for another ATYCLB... I mean, they can make some very interesting music with some dance influences. Another album like ATYCLB or HTDAAB would be totally boring and not creative at all and that is not what U2 is about in my opninion. I hope that it will be as experimental as Pop was, or even more. I hope that it will shock all the people and critics because it isn't like anything they have ever heard before. I don't even care if most people won't like it, because often that means that it's way ahead of its time and people aren't ready for it, like Pop was. And that's what makes it so great. If they go on and try to copy their old albums like JT or ATYCLB, they could just stop right now because we all now that they can only make a worse album then.

ALBUM, TOUR NEWS FROM DUBLIN
June 08, 2008
posted by: m2
We're getting several emails tonight from U2.com regulars telling us about various threads in the Zootopia forums. Seems there's a lot of activity lately outside Hanover Quay, and fans are asking questions and getting information like this:
* The band has one week of work left on the album.
* Brian Eno told fans about a new song called 'Moment of Surrender' and said it's "the best thing" he's recorded with U2.
* Sam O'Sullivan told fans the band is on a tight schedule because the album has to be ready for October.
* Tour will start in March and will visit North America and Europe. (no idea on source)
So there you have it. Thx to our Zootopia friends (C, A, etc.) for sharing the news so we can share with our readers.

"I think we can safely say it's one of the great, innovative records from U2."

So was the last record not innovative, or it was and they're trying to work up hype with this new one?
