Probably should have included that lol, but yeah, you can't really copy Thom Yorke
  4. Matt Bellamy > Thom Yorke

  5. okay....i disagree...but that´s opinion....I really didn´t mean to start this endless discussion that´s everywhere and it´s awful...youtube, atease, muselive... wherever....let´s talk about how great muse is and that´s it......

These days I´ve been listening a lot to Absolution, it´s becoming one of my favorites!

  6. Sorry, dont hear the similarities. Thanks for the link tough, fun remix
And Matt and Yorke are sooooo much different lol...its like comparing Bono to Chris Martin... And I know how much most of you had that comparison

The singing style is very different, right, but the songs' bases are almost identical. That's why they can be mashed up (or "remixed" as you say)...

what do you mean? i don´t understand

but i think muse is ha little heavier while radiohead experiments more...... and i like thom´s lyrics better... but muse has some really sweet base guitar!

but again, don´t wanna turn this topic in a band vs. band kind of thing, everyone is enttled to theirown opinion and the right to express it....but no bashing.....

He means the comparison of Map of The Problematique with Enjoy The Silence by Depeche Mode

  10. I am in no way a big Radiohead fan.
But no, Thom is a way better lyricist and Matt imitates his singing style (although he sings with more aggression).
Matt is very much a typical rocker, who seems more interested in making noise than music.

I've listened through Origin of Symmetry and Absolution so far. Songs that I remember liking are Bliss, Hysteria and Feeling Good and Plug in Baby (except for the lyrics) the other ones all sound sort of indistinct.
