Wow 2 awesome zingers in a row. Lmao!
  2. The video to accompany the album on itunes is one of the most beautiful things I've seen! May have been a tear in the eye during O. Seriously watch it from start to finish it's truly stunning!
  3. This is definitely a step up from the last few albums omg... I LOVE the video and each song is so great (even ASOS) in context. Now I wish they were touring for it.
  4. Well worth the wait! Great album! Wasn't too much of a fan of their last album but loving all nine tracks on this!

Agreed! Feels so much more concise than the last two which is ironic because Viva and Mylo tried so hard to be concept albums lol
  6. Raving reviews, people. Ok, gonna listen to the album just to celebrate that exactly one year ago this happened

  7. Listened to it just now. It's better than their last album, but that wasn't really hard. Still I can't say its really good, not really one track that is really really good.
  8. finished the 1st track, surely it will leak now that they've started streaming it.
  9. Think it's an album you need to listen at late evening, dark room, in bed, closed eyes. It's a dark album, no highlights
  10. What's funny to me is that this album is clearly brooding in the loss of Chris's partner, but none of the songs that I've heard so far strike me as hard as MOST of their older catalog in that regard!

    Let me explain:

The show they played at the Beacon recently has been getting played on satellite radio. The new songs? Meh. But when Chris and Co. are playing the OLD songs, like "Fix You" and even "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face," (And when you work it out, I'm worse than you...)...I defintiely feel like those have to be even harder to sing than the ones he's currently writing.
  11. Very different opinions on thie album I see
I for one am enjoying the new songs, the change of tone and the darkness. It's not better than the first couple of albums for me, but it's definitely better than the last couple.
I really like the direction Chris's lyrics and singing style are taking. The album overall and when listened as a whole 'works'.
