1. I always wanted to see Coldplay live, but when they play the Amsterdam Arena I'm in doubt. The venue just isn't right for concerts. And the prices are high as well. No problem if it was a smaller venue where you have the insurance you can see it well, but for these big venues?

I am in doubt too. Arena is horrible and these prices are ridiculous. Even more expensive than U2 charges for a GA and this is stadium?

Its clever of them to start ticketsales before the release the new album. When the album is a bummer they will have allready soled most of the tickets.
  4. Plus, Coldplays shows never last more than 90 minutes, or do they nowadays?

90 minute show + expensive GA + Amsterdam Arena + lousy single = me in doubt

Plus allready Mumford and Sons and Muse on the agenda voor 2016. But we will not be the only onces I think. The concert will not be sold out in one day.
  6. I don't know if I can be bothered travelling all the way to Hampden to see them. Tickets will be expensive too. I might wait until a couple of weeks before until I buy a ticket so I know the setlist.
  7. If they decide to come to the Hollywood Bowl like they did during their MX Tour, I'll definitely go see them. People talk a lot of crap about Coldplay, but I really don't understand why. When we complain about U2 not experimenting with new styles, I can't help but look at Coldplay and how they've changed their style so drastically between their last few albums.

Still, I wouldn't buy tickets for a tour before hearing the new album. The only band I'd do that for is U2.
  8. It must be great to love everything by everyone Alex. I admire you
  9. I've never heard of "Everything" by Everyone, is it good?

My musical tastes are rather broad, but there are genre's I won't touch, such as Rap and Country. It's interesting because all my coworkers and friends would make the exact opposite statement. I'm proud to say I've accomplished the life achievement of having all my acquaintances know me as that guy who's obsessed with U2. My library consists of a large majority U2, with Coldplay, Muse, The Killers, and Imagine Dragons rounding out the rest.

    haha, well played there.

Nah, seriously... Maybe I'm a bit more old-school than you, but regarding most bands we share a crush for (Muse, TK, CP) we're almost always in the opposite side regarding new material. It's pretty funny actually. I wish I could embrace all their new material with the same passion as you do!
  11. I generally like new stuff because I enjoy giving new material a chance. Admittedly, there have been new things I haven't been too enthusiastic about, such as Psycho. I guess I'm just lucky hahaha.
