  1. Hardly. Busacca is stupid. Van Persie had already pulled his leg back ready to strike the ball almost the moment the referee blew his whistle. The referee had a few things to think about I suppose - was kicking the ball away an act of dissent from Van Persie? No. Has Van Persie denied Barcelona an advantage of a quick free kick? From that far out and that particular time in the game, no. Have Arsenal gained an advantage from denying a quick free kick? Again, no. He hit the ball hard enough that the ball rebounded off the advertising hoardings anyway so it wasn't too dificult for the Barcelona goalkeeper to collect the ball, I'm sure a ball boy would've given him one even quicker.

    The only stupidity was the referee's decision. And Fabregas' backheel that lead to 1-0.
  2. i think van Persie red card is unfair too .. too short time between referee whistle and the shot for considering he heard it and go on anyway
    Fabregas is goint to play in Barcelona next year ...

  6. Did any German football fans heard something about a transfer of Huntelaar to Ajax? Because I read it somewhere and was wondering if that site made it up or if the rumour could be true, so does anybody know something about that??

  8. Everyone is predicting 1-1-1-1 on this week's predictions... That's why I predicted a 2 for the Bayern-Inter match, it's the only one with the ability of being surprising... so boring!

  11. Unbelieveble how much luck you can have in a game. Inter really plays on a extreme defending way, a shame for soccer. Hopefully they will go out in the next round, but I guess they will keep playing with 10 defenders and with a counter they will score on a lucky way.


    But still Bayern had to score at least 4 or 5 times, they were much and much better.
