1. What is the difference between winning the Premiership and winning the national title? Is there a difference?
  2. Was the Manch. United vs. Schalke a Premiership match? Did it matter in the overall standings of the division, or was it just a great opportunity for Schalke to play, and possibly upset, Man. U?

that game was apart of the UEFA champions league, which is seperate from the respective clubs national leages, so the results have no effect on their domestic league standing however the winner of this tie will progress to the Champions league final
  4. And Champions League is built up a bit like the World Championships, and are for the best clubs only.
  5. Those explanations were quite impressive, Harry

    The important Classico's now!

Everyone knew that Barca had the league wrapped up and if anyone's really honest, the Copa del Rey isn't worth much. Should make for some compelling viewing.

    That said...

I hate both of these clubs. The sheer arrogance of them does me head in. Barcelona's graciousness on the pitch is only matched by their lack of it off the pitch.

They're still the lesser of two evils when it comes to Madrid though. A club that actually expects other clubs to give them players as and when they desire.

    It's a shame they both can't lose.
  8. A Madridleno who's not a Madrista??
