1. High boot, he shoulda been sent off and now receive a ban. u cant go round lifting ur foot that high
  2. Pretty much an automatic yellow card in the premier league anyway for rasing your foot into a challenge, the ref should've have waited to make his decision and made it based on the seriousness of the injury caused.

The red card could then have been extended by the Belgian FA if they deemed it necessary. Quite difficult to issue bans after the game when the referee has already made his decision as the referee's decision should be final.
  3. at least in Italy if the referee sees and decides the tv evidence doesn't count

  4. Propaganda once again...

Normally Mavinga will be suspended for a long time on the basis of video-images you can count on that.
But pfff horrible tackle. Really horrible.

  5. It doesn't count anywhere, I think Of course, I mean live... The referee can't go out to see a repeat of the fault before making his judgement. There can be further sanctions a few days after the match, but during the match, TV evidence is not accepted, yep.
  6. i meant after the match; if the referee "didn't see" something bad (punch kick whatever) and he didn't take his decision and he didn't write anything in his report then the player can be sanctioned by tv evidence days later.
but it's not the situation. ref saw and judged

It's still Belgium, so you don't know how things will go...
I mean, a few weeks ago, a player received a yellow card, but commission corrected it and suspended the player for a few weeks...
  8. Big day today in the Premier League. West Ham already relegated, 5 more battling for survivial. Shouls make for an interesting day of twists and turns.

On a side note to Champions League final, Manchester United are not allowed to rest players today due to daft rues imposed by the Premier League and the FA.

what a day it was, the live ladder was changing all the time, was nerve racking stuff, feel sorry for all the fans of clubs who went down. Especially Blackpool, i really wanted them to stay up, Ian Holloways interview after the game was so sad.

and for me Italy cup final too
  11. Just a small note to congratulate Celtic on Saturday's Scottish Cup win! Great day out and good end to the season
