1. Haha he didn't even touch the ball did he?

  2. He brushed it with his studs, so technically took the penalty. Arsenal went on to win the game anyway so in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't that big a deal. Henry was very relaxed about it in a post match interview:

  3. it was a serious topic in the past days, but today Raul confirmed he will definitely stay and fulfill his contract until 2012.
Raul has more than once stated that he enjoys being in the Schalke team, but someone of the team's official seems to like the idea of getting rid of him. Nobody gets why. We will never get a better player and a better person than Raul.
  4. Thats good news for all Schalke fans. I hope Spurs can keep Modric.
  5. Harry i feel for u mate, no way did Barnett deserve to be red carded. Stoke seemed to gain the ascendancy after that. That ref/linesman should get put down to the championship for a week.

We're all pretty pissed about it lol. As you say, no way a red card, not even a foul, just a coming-together. Shocking decision, but at least he followed through with it as he saw it. Just gutted that it turned the game and cost us two points. Hopefully we'll respond positively for it though
  7. What do you think?

  8. Grupo D vas a un batalha fantastico! (This sentence probably sucks, haven't had Spanish class for nearly three months).

Group D is gonna be a fantastic battle. ¡Vamos Lyon!
  9. There's a surprise, Man United getting an easy group.
  10. Group G has no really big teams at all.
  11. Groups A and E are probably the most interesting. Some nice matches there. I'm eager to see how many predictions we fail on those groups
  12. Welcome to the lane Adebayor, and we got some young bloke Tago Falque, anyone ever seen him play?
