    GK - Schmeichel
    LB - Roberto Carlos
    CB - Cannavaro
    CB - Nesta
    RB - Cafu
    LM - Giggs
    CM - Zidane
    CM - Roy Keane
    RM - Beckham
    ST - Ronaldo (BRA)
    ST - Raul

    I apologise that it's really a post 1990's squad, particularly when they were in their prime but man, these players were something else. Ronaldo would've destroyed defences in Pele's era and Raul would've embarressed the best of keepers. Zidane would've turned players inside out, turned around and done it again when George Best was tearing through the field. Whilst I absolutely admire the ability of Best, Pele, Van Basten etc, I honestly think that these players were some of the best at what they did.

    Remember the Brazil-France game of WC06? Ronaldinho on top of the world (a bit like Messi is supposed to be), Zidane stole the show. He stole the show when he was sleeping. Incredible. Schmeichel was unbeatable when he was on his game, The Great Dane is his nickname for a reason. Only position I pondered about was left back, either Carlos or Maldini for me. Carlos had pace to burn though and couldn't half strike a football.

  4. Unbelievable talent. A favourite of mine right from his early Juventus days, some lucky people will have watched him develop at Bordeaux and even Cannes. I've seen some of his goals from his early french career, equally as good as they were before he retired.

    Won't ever catch Messi pulling off THAT volley.

  10. Messi to overcome Maradona has to do something with his national like Diego did in 1986 (for example) with a far worse team ... and trying to play not always in the best team of the moment

    EURO 2012 GROUP C: Spain, Croatia, Italy, Republic of Ireland.
    EURO 2012 GROUP B: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Portugal.
    EURO 2012 GROUP A: Poland, Greece, Russia, Czech Republic.

    Nice Hard but not impossible, with everyone fit we can beat them all (only Germany going to be hard) But im sure we will go to the next round, that means we will meet someone of Group A; easy. So Germany and The Netherlands are already in the semi-finals
  12. I think my country has a chance. We're good enough to beat both England and France in our good hours. I still think we will finish 3rd though.

    Group B will be amazing to watch. I think Germany, Holland and Portugal all have a chance to win the entire championship. My neighbors in Denmark are good enough to beat any of those three though.

    Group A is a joke.
