1. It's been blocked by the FA Premier League, so I will post some alternative videos, everybody should see that awesome goal:

    (at 1:38)

  2. As much as I admire the form that Van Persie is in, his goal wasn't that spectacular.
  3. It was Couldnt have hit it better. Declining slope, very fast and very accurate. Doesnt get better than that.

Whilst technically he was spot on, the actual difficulty of the strike wasn't that high. It was falling nicely for his favoured left foot, no pressure on him from the defenders or goalkeeper - the only difficulty would be generating the outward swing. Very attractive goal but in terms of overall difficulty, nothing compared to his volley against Charlton.
  5. True, this goal was awesome. Against Charlton was legen, wait for it, dary!

  6. I prefer VAn Persie ( sorry Kirsten... ) but form Netherlands i prefer Robben or Sneijer , they are great players

Van Persie and Huntelaar are both from the Netherlands too.
  8. anyone see one of the worst ref displays ever last night in the Stoke v Tottenham game, absolute bullshit, just puts more weight behind the need for video referals.

Man City have got Chelsea tonight. So heading into next weekend there might only be 2 points separating the two sides. Only consolation United have for being knocked out of the Champions League is that Man City also got knocked out.

Sir Alex is still intent on playing Phil Jones in midfield though. Played well against Wolves to be fair to him but his attacking isn't exactly great. Him and Carrick are similar midfielders (except it's natural for Carrick) both suited to a more holding role.

Similar to Roy Keane in the 90's but we no longer have a Scholes to attack and support the strikers. Ferguson ideally needs to buy a central midfielder who operates behind the strikers when attacking but can drop back to support when defending. Phil Jones needs to form a partnership with Ferdinand. Jones and Smalling were tipped to be England's future defensive partnership but it starting to seem unlikely.
