    Did you see the match between Barca vs Santos ?

    Barca is near to be unbeatable .... maybe in 90 minutes , but not in 180 ....
    Madrid with Mou is awesome . If Barca no exist Madrid would be the best team in the world , but Xavi, Iniesta, Messi exists....


  6. It wasn't long ago that we did beat them over 180 minutes, 2008. That's before Barcelona became what they did. Media hyping them up, constantly putting other teams down, arselicking Messi even when he does nothing in a game.

    Similar to how the English media builds the national team up and eventually puts too much pressue on them, not that that bothers me.

    Messi wouldn't change United, he can barely make an impact with his national team. I think really, it's Xavi and Iniesta who do all the hard work. I think Barcelona could easily sell Messi to another club and continue as they do. Defensively, they leave a lot to be desired. Valdes isn't anywhere amongst the top goalkeepers of the game, the only player who I'd consider a top defender is Puyol, but he needs a haircut. But since they play so high up and constantly pass it around 35 yards from goal, the opposition can't expose their defence. Arsenal did a few years ago (maybe last year?) and probably deserved to go through in that tie.
  7. saw just the highlights but i think south american football is not comparable with european one .. great players there who make great teams here though

    then we'll beat them in the final in 90mins .. dreaming costs nothing hehehe

    good point about Messi .. he's great for sure but i wish to see him in other situations to compare him to other from the past such as Maradona, Van Basten, Platini, Matthaus etc

    He's very much a player who applies the decoration but sometimes you need more than that. Those players you listed + Zidane/Ronaldo were all great players, great leaders and a great inspiration for both club and country. Messi isn't. Neither is Cristiano Ronaldo.

    Xavi and Iniesta are both the key men in the Barcelona squad.
  10. agree for Zidane .. not sure about Ronaldo .. sincerely he's one the amazing players i saw but i remember 2 wonderful seasons by him, Barca and the first in Inter) .. he was truly unlucky after apart from the rest.

    i think it's enough to take Xavi off and all the Barca castle starts to collapse

    Ronaldo was at his best towards the end of the 1990's I agree but after a poor few seasons at Inter, you can't deny that Madrid reinvigorated him, particularly his first two seasons there. Again though, like at Inter, he dropped off. 1998 World Cup and 2002 were also some of the best examples of him. He absolutely destroyed the 2002 World Cup. Point is on Ronaldo was that at his peak he also had the ability to not only strike fear into teams, but turn a game on it's head if it's a little dull and also be a huge presence for his country. That said, the Brazil squad of 1998-2002 was amazing and maybe had a similar impact that Barcelona have on Messi, making it easy for him.

    Zidane is a class apart though. He could've dominated the world even if he'd had stayed at Bordeaux, instead he had to go and show Serie A and La Liga what he was all about. Immense control, some of the stuff he did as a player is unrivalled.
  12. on the official website of S04 they say it's only "a formalilty" that Raúl will prolong his contract which would now end this summer - and the Senor himself is quoted today that he would love to stay for another 2 years...fingers crossed
