1. Very good news for Spurs...i like him very much...i thought he was going to Barca
  2. not a great result in the first match of the final, isn't it Pato?

  3. Great news indeed. If we dont make CL this coming season i think he will still be off though, this new contract just means we will get top dollar for him.

Dont know whats happened to Vertonghen though, everything has been agreed but now theres some kind of hold up ffs.
  4. You guys probably heard it already somewhere: the coach of the dutch national team, Bert van Marwijk, resigned his post yesterday. He did it following an amazingly bad EC
  5. Thats the best news we could get Now its time to get a coach who wants to play football instead of defend all the time.

Andrew, Vertonghen and Ajax are having diffucilties about something they put in his contract a couple of years ago; When he got sold for more than 20 million he got 15% of the money but since now he goes for 12 million Ajax doesnt want to pay him.

I think its a bit childish of Ajax to be honest.

It's not gonna make any difference. There's a lot of tension between the players, and there are a lot of big ego's. A new coach could play more attacking, but if you can't defend you're gonna conceed. And if the players have problems among themselves, their play is gonna lack. I mean you can see Sneijder, Robben and Van Persie have a lot of tension between them. They don't agree on how to play. Then there's Van der Vaart and Huntelaar who supposedly caused a lot of friction.
So it doesn't matter who's in charge, it's gonna be a hell of a task to get the best players into a well playing team. That's something van Marwijk did in 2010. You can say what you want, but it was a team and they were all playing for Sneijder in 2010. Now some players think they are better and they should be more influential. Which is causing friction and tension. I don't envy whoever is going to be in charge. It's gonna be a herculean task to even find someone crazy enough to do it..

  7. The result was not good.
During the cup governs the away goals rule, except in the final (that stupid! ), So not so bad. Boca deserved more and Corinthinas tied it in the last minutes.

Boca is playing better away matches , but the Brazilians only suffered a goal playing at home, posing a difficult game...
  8. so if it will end 0-0 or 2-2 then extra-time?

Missed that post, but just read it in the newspaper. I am of course interested in seeing two great teams. I wonder when they're gonna play. I am hoping for an afternoon game since I am also planning to see Alice Cooper play that night.

The time is set at 20:00. I obviously now have a choice to make for that evening.

The game costs around 500 SEK, the Cooper gig 80 SEK since all concerts are included in the entrance fee to the amusement park where he's playing.
