1. You might well be right there Ronnie. Two excellent sides. I'll be watching Man City vs. Ajax though. If Man City look favourites to win, I'll switch over to the Madrid game.
  2. From BBC Sport:

There are eight graduates from the Ajax academy playing in their starting XI tonight compared to none from City's academy in Roberto Mancini's entire squad. This is not designed to condemn City by insinuation but you have to applaud Ajax for their approach and success in implimenting it, especially in an age when clubs are being forced to adhere to stricter financial rules.

    Fantastic
  3. Too early to laugh?
  4. It is early, but still embarrassing for city.
  5. Man City are obsessed with 3-2 victories, so you're not safe yet.
  6. Ajax is young, will be hard to stay focussed.
  7. See
  8. Vermeer could've saved that if he had anticipated it, but who on Earth was expecting him to take that on? I still think there's more goals for both clubs in this. Man City certainly should have woken up now.

What Ajax lose in youth and inexperience, they make up for in effort and togetherness/teamwork.

Credit to Arsenal too, two goals up in Germany. Unfortunate for Kirsten.
  9. Vermeer is crap crapping crap.
  10. Open game against city, Ajax playing well.
  11. Referee keeping his cards in the pocket for both sides.
