  4. Not a good night of internationals for the Spurs boys, France losing to Ukraine (was that expected?) and Romania losing to Greece. At least Iceland managed a draw, it would be awesome if they made it through, I'm pretty sure they'd become the smallest country population-wise to ever reach the WC finals.

    And it's true what you've said about Iceland
    I'm rooting for them too as Eidur Gudjohnsen plays for Club Brugge and because they're the underdogs.

    Players in all seven games on Wednesday night crossed their arms at the start of the game and refused to play for several moments while others, who had been threatened with a booking, just passed the ball back and forth between one another.

    I always was consternated about the amount of matches they play every season

    I meant that cyclists have to ride at 45km/h, for 5 hours, almost everyday, and they never complain. And now soccer players are going to whine when they have to play 90 minutes 2 or 3 times a week.
