I want Napoli in ...so in this i m not with you ...

Ajax played well agaisnt Milan , or not ? a draw in Milan is not bad !
  3. No they played bad, Milan got a red card in the 20th minute. Ajax created some changes but couldn't get through the defense.
A draw against Milan of a couple of years ago was good, but this Milan is very bad.
  4. Milan was terrible, Ajax was 10 times better the only thing you can blame on them is being unlucky.

Of course people will say 'you dont deserve it if you are not able to score once from nearly 20 chances', but there is no saying in any language on this planet which made Milan deserve the 2nd place in this group.

Webb was quite good for a change, although he was too scared to send off Balotelli after Milan's first red card. That guy is a disgrace for the sport. Making several fouls with no ball in sight.

Anyway I think Ajax can be proud.Looking at the fact that Ajax literally has a completely team on the pitch each couple of years, all youngsters and with little money. With 0.1% more luck they wouldve been solid on the second place even before last night's game.

Would be nice if they would get far in the EL, would be great if during the winter they bought an additional, real, striker. Each team needs a guy which can score out of thin air.

but you said that this Ajax was weak or i m wrong ? and Milan is always Milan ...is not easy never ..even when they haven t a good team like now

  6. :X :X
  7. Bony would've been better off heading to Ajax in my opinion. He was a beast for Vitesse last year but he's done nothing of note for Swansea this season. Is it any consolation knowing that you're the only Dutch side in the Europa League now?

I can't wait for the draw, even if we do face the prospect of slightly weaker sides. I'll go to the home game in the second round and if we progress, which we really should, I hope we get a great quarter-final (Madrid!). The second round draw for Arsenal and Manchester City could be lethal.
  8. By the way, when is the winter break for your domestic leagues? As you may know, we don't have one in England but I don't want to run the predictions with just English games so I need to find a date to shut down until the spring.
  9. here not this but the next weekend is the last then restart at Epiphany

Ajax is pretty weak when you just look at the players, but De Boer is a great coach. He manages to make the players really play as a team. And ofcourse its still Milan but they are so bad, looking at the draws of the last couple of years the third place than was great. But this season we played against the weakest Milan of 20 (?) years and Celtic who don't have anything to do in the CL. Its still a bit of bad luck, Milan at home there was that penalty in the last minute and last week we could have won it with a little more luck. Ahh well too bad, Europa League it is....

And Tim, Bony was way too expensive for Ajax and every other Dutch club. Even if Ajax could have afforded him, Vitesse wouldn't sell Bony to Ajax. They are in the hand of Chelsea. Van Ginkel could go to Ajax this summer, which he wanted, Ajax even wanted to pay more than Chelsea. But since Vitesse is Chelsea 2 nowadays he moved to London. Its a shame, Vitesse have 6 or 7 players from Chelsea on loan now.

There is still 2 weeks to go here, this weekend and next. After that there is a break until the end of january.
  11. I didn't take into consideration the value of Bony, what was the fee?
  12. 12 million pounds. That's 14 million euro's.

As of last season Ajax decided they don't want to spend huge amounts of money anymore. For Van Ginkel they wanted to pay 7 million euro's and I guess that's about the limit.
Everything is now focused on the youth, they still do transfers there, young player who get taked into the academy and learn the ''Ajax-game'' are cheaper and will get sold, hopefully, with a large profit.

It's a new course, which I don't fully agree with but it's better than spending millions of euro's each season and finishing third or something (PSV) or being the playtoy of a rich East European gangster (Vitesse) and so far it looks like it's succesfull.
