right, well the tracklistings have been announced. but theres only two songs we havn't heard of before. 'Angels Too Tied To The Ground' and 'Saturday Night'. any one else reckon this is a good thing?i mean the songs on the JT re-issue that we didn't know off before weren't up 2 much were they.overall it looks good though.i was one of the doubters at first but im pretty tempted now.lol.

Where's "Be There" from the October sessions? That could've been included instead of two live versions of I Will Follow.

Regardless, I'll still buy all three albums in deluxe format.

No October remixes from "They Call It An Acccident"?
No demos for SBS, Lika A Song and Surrender?
No demos for Be There?
No Edge songs from Jah Wobble's "Snake Charmer" LP?

Lame, U2. You can do better. Stop being so over-protective of your non-hits.
And fill up those CDs, you're wastin' real estate.

When it comes to rarities releases U2 are so far behind Big Country and almost everyone else. Even James, Coldplay and Verve released more rarities already. It doesn't matter if they're not all great demos and rarities. That's not the point. We would at least like to hear what was created in those days. Right?

U2 could easily release a box set of just demos and b-sides and I would buy that.

C'mon U2, fess up already.

True about the demos thing... although I can't complain because Pete released most of the Who's demos on Scoop albums

Again with Achtung, just imagine. The album would be remastered, the volume raised until the tiny white hairs in your eyes fall off. The bonus disc probably would have Salome outtakes, figuring most people don't have these songs. The DVD, most likely, would be something from 1992. They would not release the Yankee Stadium gig, or the thing could not be sold in the Boston area (I wouldn't buy it either). Stockholm is up there, along with Milan. DC is another one that could be, although I am sick of the show now (the only Zoo TV gig on my iPod for a while, a long long while).

If I can get a replacement head for my Toshiba turntable I'll rip the Edge songs from "Snake Charmer" and the October remixes from "They Call It An Accident". Could post them here, but in FLAC if that was okay. I try to avoid lossy audio.

By rip, I mean transfer from vinyl through my sound card into Audacity.
Sad U2 are so self conscious.
