Sad U2 are so self conscious.

    Sounds excellent

  2. the boy remastering looks like the most promsing, the extra cd looks amazing on the other hand, im a bit disapointed from the extra cd of war.

  4. A bit off topic but related anyway:

Does anybody else has a strange thing on Electric Co?? In my track, it fades out slightly (on the pseudo-jam part, where Larry hits very hard etc, about 03:40 or so) and later fades in suddenly, and the sound is even higher than before the fade out. Anybody else had that problem, or is it a wrong on my copy??

I always assumed that was intentional, not a problem

back on topic, I think all three of these remasters look awesome. people will always want more but i think good. i'm sure U2 will continue to cull their back catologue long after they are done so eventually, if we all live long enough we'll hear pretty much everything

  9. 2. Angels Too Tied To The Ground (Previously Unreleased Track)

    ........... wanna hear it
  10. Boy ---- very promising!!!
WAR ---- do they list NYD????? album has 10 songs, and they did some pretty great tour those days!! why the hell no live stuff will be released?????
  11. War disc is poor
  12. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

For years I've heard many complain how the Boy to R&H CD's aren't up to scratch and why doesn't U2 remaster and make deluxe packages like The Cure, Depeche Mode, REM, etc.

If they didn't, tons would complain. If they do, some gripe about price - re-buying an album or cry foul or sellout.

You don't have to buy it. Hence making them available is going with the best plan. Those that want them can buy them. Those that don't, don't have to buy it. Bono isn't holding a gun to anyone's head.

Sorry for the 'rant' but really... it gets annoying hearing the complaining about something like this. They are making material available. That is not a bad thing. And you you don't like the price or content - don't buy it - simple as that.
