  8. As one of the "idiot" admins of iwillfollowu2.com I find this thread very interesting! Its nice to know that the 10-12 hours per week I spend on our site to make it run as well as it can is appreciated.

    Our site is built on a vBulletin base, there isn't much way of making it a different design! We've done our best to make it unique. No, my meager programming skills don't allow me to make a completely unique site design like the one Remy has done here. And Baba, LMB is NOT the only U2 site that runs on a vBulletin base.

    Needless concept?? There are many U2 fans who are not able to torrent due to bandwidth and inaccessibility to the internet.We provide FREE DVD downloads, without asking ANYTHING in return except a "thank you". I guess that is difficult for some people. We don't ask for or accept donations, and are currently paying for 4 different servers to enable our site to run.

    It's hard to start trading if you don't have anything to trade with. We have given many members a start with a bunch of DVD's that they can then trade with to build up their own collections. Many of your u2start members have also gotten many DVD's from us. They have then gone on to do a lot of trading. I don't agree that our concept is needless.

    Admins are idiots - thank you very much!!! Glad to know the time I spent teaching you how to torrent, germcevoy, was well appreciated. Also, glad to know you appreciated the time I spent converting several DVD's to .avi and uploading them for you (before you realized how much better DVD's were).

    At no time has anyone on our site bashed u2start, and nothing has been said about LMB since July 2007 either. I think u2start is a great site and I have said so to many of our members, as well as complimenting Remy on his great programming skill (that I wish I had!)

    Bono and U2 would be very proud of the U2 spirit that has been shown here on this thread.

I didn´t read before what was going on this thread,but now that i did,i can say it for sure this isn´t u2 spirit and i´m very surprised and a litle angry what some people said about IWILLFOLLOW.COM and their admins !why do you have to say bad things about them?!They are only trying to share music mp3,dvds,etc FOR FREE!!!Is that bad?!or does it makes them idiots for that?!They are only doing just some of the same things that happens here too!!As for me, i can only be happy that i´m member in there too,they are really cool people, Martin and Kim! and every member in there!!

    I've never been on your site so can make no personal observations. But having read your post I've just re-read the thread and found 3 negative posts (until that needlessly rude one above me) about iwillfollowU2.com. That's it. And you quoted them all. Yeah gave a personal opinion (as he was asked to by the thread starter) which LikeaSong agreed with and germcevoy has evidently had a personal issue on the site; which, in his defence, he did not go into and did not needlessly attack the site.

    Every other post that actually pertained to your site was positive.

    Discussion is surely the basis of any decent forum and that's what has gone on here. Not everyone is going to like everything you or anyone else says or does. As long as it is polite and well-mannered, where is the harm?

    You'd be welcome to start a thread about this site; I'm sure Remy wouldn't mind. You'd get some positive and some negative posts I suspect. We're all entitled to an opinion.

    And I can't see it's got anything to do with Bono or the band at all.....
