    Stick at it Nikki. Some of the best vets in my year, and one I work with now, had to take an extra year, or even do another degree first in one case. If it's still your dream, keep going. It will come right.

    Your finger will swell to 3 times it's normal size; change colour and hurt like being run over by a 10-ton truck.

    Yea its good to be back guys and thanks so much for your support with the whole Vet school, its tough and it is still my dream so im gonna keep trying! Even if it takes me two or three more years i'll keep going or else i just dont know what id do!

    Dan, how long ago did you get bitten? Does it mean your out of surgery for a while?

    On that note, you're doing the right thing. I'm in a similar position, I'm bricking it (pardon the expression) about my A-level results this Thursday, hoping to high heaven that I've got into my preferred Uni., but if I haven't this year, I'll re-apply next year i.e. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL! lol.

    YAH! so someone knows what its like, well, maybe... If you do get into your preferred Uni though... you wont know so its a tough call haha
    But good luck im sure you'll be fine!! Its just a matter of not giving up right! Positive thinking!
