Argh, you know what I meant Ali! Stop nitpicking! lol...
  2. It has to be Running To Stand Still on the Zoo TV. Crowd used to go nuts when they recognised the organ and the red screen. And then came BONO with that voice. So great, man.
  3. I love All I Want Is You from Slane to Streets, but if Bono did it every night his voice would end even worse and I need him to save his strenght for Buenos Aires . RTSS is brilliant, but I don't think it would work out on another stage.
But my favorite intro is from a Point Depot show, All I Want is You + Resolution and Independence snippet + Streets, truly one of a kind.

I don't mind the flags(the red background isn't that great anyway, it's just tradition), but please get rid of Pride!! At least not before Streets. COBL and Streets are too similar for me, I'm not sure if two long intros in a row is a such a good idea.
I think it would be even better to take advantage of both intros and do a "Bad + COBL" and "All I Want Is You + Streets" and switch "AIWIY + COBL" "Bad + Streets" the next show... or Please, or RTSS, hell, why not any of them so they surprises us every night. Or use COBL as an opener, it's the best so far(Streets is better, but is a waste playing it at the begining).

I 'd have said the tempo was a key difference during Elevation for sure - compare BTBS over either tour, and the Vertigo version was so much slower and more melancholy than crash-bang-whallop-eat-molten-lead type thing lol...the solos still kicked arse though...

Is it me or are all the songs gradually slower tour after tour? I mean they Edge, Adam and Larry are playing better and better every tour, but the tempo for most of the songs are a bit slower than the previous tour(not to compare the Boy-era songs, but it isn't fair to compare the energy of a 18 year old band with a 40+).

Think you hit the nail on the head there...

Careful there mate, that sort of talk can get you convicted of treason around here...
  6. after listening to the track drunk chicken & tempo think that would have echoed in on STREETS back in 87!! if it was used as to the recording of "Stand by me" at the opening of the JT concerts
  7. I now really falling in the love of "All I Want Is You " lead Into "Streets " From the Slane Concert

It's not as great as AIWIY, but it's definitely nice...At least better than Pride-Streets from the Vertigo-tour...
