  2. It's clear that you don't like the song at all, which is fine. But take a look at this article for why this collaboration between Kendrick and U2 makes a lot of sense. They both are socially and politically engaged in important issues and both trying to push boundaries creatively by doing this. The author compare this song to a Zooropa-type collaboration...

  3. I liked Bono's part, but not the song. I'm fine with the collaboration as long as it doesn't foreshadow SOE.
  4. "Bono turns 57 next month, which means he isn’t much younger now than Cash was (61) when Zooropa was released."

    That's actually painful to read.

Cash passed away after just 10 years of recording The Wanderer...

This isn't a U2 song people. For God sakes. If you think this is SOE you must be nuts. That said, I liked it.
  8. He might be being sarcastic. People keep Tweeting these things like when Kanye worked with Paul McCartney. Or he is an idiot which is also very likely.

  9. This is incorrect. U2 shouldn't give a damn about their fanbase. They should be doing whatever they think is enjoyable. People misunderstand how being a fan works. Being a fan means you get to enjoy something the artist enjoys doing, it does not mean you get to dictate what the artist gets to do. If that bothers you, don't let the door hit you on your way out.
