Dancing. With this word, Bono described the next U2 album on an interview to the Rolling Stone (September). Bono said the album will have a sound for night clubs.

Bono also said the band has plans to release a rock album and a collection of songs called Songs Of Ascent. Those songs are songs from the latests albums of U2.

The leader of U2 also talked about his recent incident that postponed American dates of the 360 Tour to the next year. "The world has biggest problems than the one I got, but I faced it...and overcame it! I feel very grateful for it."

In the last 2 paragraphs, the article talks about the recent rumours of U2 being in Chile and S. America in March of next year. A negotiation is under way, but the dates still have to be confirmed.

    Greetings from Brazil

    Dance? Night clubs???

He (Bono) expects U2 will release a new record, drawn from that body of songs, in time for their return to North America next year. "That's going to be great. Those people are going to have tickets to a whole new show with new songs."

Let's have celebrate how U2 licks America's arse again....
  4. OFFICIAL: Seville (Spain) concert POSTPONED to the following day (Sept. 30th) due to General Strike in Spain on the 29th: http://u2.tc/fC

  5. First Greece, now Spain. The strike could cause a lot of trouble.
  6. dance album? bono said that too about nloth.'an album to play in clubs'. well, not really. yeah, that shitload of remixes maybe.
  7. If the album does prove to be dancalicious (gayest word that I've used on this forum to date ), that will be a huge win.
  8. if they really want to make a dance album they should collaborate with the scissor sisters
  9. Don't get excited. Actually, don't expect anything from U2 when it comes to new records, just wait for them to be released. Any kind of hype about a new U2 album should be completely ignored.

Dancalicious? I like Funkadelic (after the early James Brown records) and Dancegerian (for Jim Steinman, except more funkier and upbeat).
