1. If they play Walk On any more I'm going to take a 5 minute nap. That song is an Elevation tour song, and the 360 tour did a great job of whole-heartedly proving that fact.
  2. Walk On is not a warhorse, regardless if U2 play it next tour or not. The reaction to it is nowhere near as strong as One or Streets.

But OMG we are so off topic!
  3. Cross-posted from the Bon Jovi thread, and semi-back on topic:

"Unlike if this were, God forbid, the Edge, and he for some reason couldn't make a U2 show, [then] it would be very difficult to just step in," he said.

-Richie Sambora on his own absence from Bon Jovi's tour.
  4. any of you guys able to tab the acoustic sunday bloody sunday? I'm having trouble getting the intro right he plays it a bit different to normal...

  5. Shot this portrait of Edge last week in the studio where U2 are working on their new album which is due out later this year..

This shot is part of a new series of portraits I'm currently working on. I'm aiming to exhibit this new work before the end of '13.

  6. If you could that'd be great I've been trying but it just sounds a bit off
  7. With the new lyrics on that version of Sunday Bloody Sunday, I don't think that verse is about Iran but about poverty/war in Africa - as that is the point of the ONE Agit8 album.

EDIT: Definitely the case the new verse is about Africa since these lyrics are from the Clinton 'Decade of Difference' performance in 2011 - which I didn't realise earlier.

I don't entirely understand the references Bono is making in the verse though. Though I agree that it isn't really better than the original verse, but it's not really a change for the worse either - nice to have a switch up.

I definitely like that version of SBS, Larry's low key drumming and Adam's 'piano bass' in the background really add something over the previous acoustic versions of SBS.
