Regarding the album, I'm still in the same position I decided to take some weeks ago. I just don't care, they will release it whenever they, their management and Universal feel like releasing it. And what we discuss here won't change a thing, so why bothering and suffering?

    Wise words

Yet every time there is a new post in this threat, I run to read and see whether anything has happened...

Blind and deaf is the way to go!

I won't go blind nor deaf due to my "duties", if you get me... But yeah, I just don't get my hopes high ANYMORE. It will come when it'll come, and there's nothing I can do about - except stop suffering
  3. After that interview I'm convinced : there isn't a new record atm nor will there be one in the near future...
Now I just hope they didn't stop trying.
  4. R.I.P. U2

Indeed, I get you - but yes, I guess we need to lower expectations and take it easy for a while...

I still have a good feeling / like I know how I'm feeling / scraping me off the ceiling...

  6. We don't really know. Bono might have been sincere, or he might just be deceiving us - after the great unannounced albums of 2011 and 2012, U2 may well want to surprise the fans, and the press. It's all idle speculation, really... and, either way, I'm sure they'll pull out something good.
  7. Btw, that sad moment when there's more activity at the Different Kind of Music topics than the U2-related ones...
  8. We should all probably give them a break. It's their music, it's their album...

But the thing that most saddened me after Letterman is his last words: 'Bono, co-founder of One and Red...' What about Bono, frontman of U2?

I thought the same while watching it, but then I realized the interview wasn't aimed at U2 at all, but at Bono's side activities mostly. Still it isn't nice to hear that final words, you're right.

  10. I think it's time for me to stay away from this topic. Way too over exaggerated. Music output slows down with age. It's a fact. Deal with it. Wow.
  11. Bono will appear on the Global Citizen festival today, as you might know. Live stream from 4 PM New York time (10 PM standard European time, 9 PM UK time) here:
