b) many fans would rather skip the classics (because the band doesn't "feel them" anymore) and devote that time to some fresh blood tracks

A medley would throw a bone to the fans in the "a" category, while having more time to throw a couple of extra songs for the fans in the "b" category.

I wouldn't like a medley, but tbh, if they decided to go that route I wouldn't leave the concert angry because of that...

I know. let me see what we have in stock." - and she went on saying "yeah, they're kinda getting big now again, you know?" ... to top it off, when I showed her the tour book (360), she didn't even know what that was about. "360... what was that again?" oh, just the highest-grossing tour ever, but okay. they weren't "big" then, I guess.
