  1. no its definitely not playback and the whole band was in darkness - not just bono.

    i just think the fact they are in darkness is an artistic device that worked really well but as i said earlier it would've looked a lot better if everything (including the band) lit up in the second half of the song.

    Agree that's an outstanding idea. First time theyve played it though maybe theyre still working out some ideas with the lighting for it
  3. from an artistic standpoint having no lights with all the effects on the screen was cool, but it would kind of suck being in GA- those who couldn't see the screen would just kind of see the dark....
  4. i thought that there was a verse missing when I listened to it this morning...
    just couldnt put my finger on it. Ah well. I thought it was cool that they played it, but I thought itd be better as an encore song with the laser jacket and steering wheel mic. Id kinda like to see a longer 2nd encore with more than WOWY and MOS even tho those were outstanding last night.
