    We did too compared to the Russians. You know, when Italy beats Spain, 3 of the 4 teams who play the semis started this tournament with a big defeat:

    Portugal 2-0 Turkey
    Spain 4-1 Russia
    Italy 0-3 Holland

    Only Germany won it's first match (2-0 Poland)

    So results in the group stage doesn't say anything. We have seen that yesterday.
  5. It's a bit odd when you put a theory forward and it starts being proved right lol...if Italy upset Spain, then you'll have to accept I know my stuff re. footy

    On another note, unlucky Holland, your guys just didn't turn up on the night. Russia, you have to admit, were better

    Aha, well, I was proved wrong by the last quarter final, but my theory worked for 3 out of the 4 ties! Spain were the better team, looked to win, Italy played as Italy do, but I think they got what they deserved overall.
