    As in South Pasadena? You'll be close to my work. I work just off of Figueroa... off the 110 on the way to South Pasadena.

    South Pasadena is might nice. Wish I could afford a house in Pasadena or S. Pasadena! (or CA in general!) Housing prices still suck.
  3. Yup, South Pas. I moved to Pasadena in '89, Glendale in '96 and then Sierra Madre in '98. We were fortunate enough to have been able to buy a house there in '03 and after being burnt out on the whole scene we sold it last year before the bubble burst and moved to Raleigh.

  4. Not guitar realated, but is it true Edge used to own a house in L.A. a double homicide happened in after he sold it?


  5. Not exactly true... Edge didn't OWN the house... What happened was that he'd rented a house in 1988 when U2 were mixing Rattle And Hum album and film.

    That house was later bought by Jose and Kitty Menendez. Thier sons, Eric and Lyle killed shot them to death in 1989.

  7. Edge was there before the Menendez Bros. moved in. Edge rented it and moved out. The owners sold it when Edge moved out after they were in LA for Rattle And Hum film/album duties. The Menendez family bought and moved in after The Edge and Aislinn moved out.

  12. I went out last night and tried out the EH Big Muff. Very cool. I'm torn though. It definitely has a cool and unique sound but I already have a distortion pedal, a Boss SD-1. What I really need is a chorus pedal. I tried out the Boss Bass Chorus but I think something was wrong with it because I couldn't notice hardly any effect even with it cranked. I'm going back to try ones made for guitars rather than bass. I also want to try out the EH Clone Theory for that cool Peter Hook sound.
