  5. An American made Lakland costs almost twice as much as an American made Fender. When I save enough up I'll have to decide whether to with a Japanese Lakland is as much as an American Fender or an American Fender.
  6. Oh fuck I meant Lakland of course, hence the joke... I know that basses are expensive, they're among the most expensive instruments of the world if I recall right. Only a few Gibsons and Ibanezs cost even more...

  9. Well, I could bet you can NOT buy a Stradivarius even if you are Bill Gates... Most of them are owned by the National Orchestras (Spain owns two if I recall right, Germany 5 or 6, etc) and all your money can't buy one... Of course I meant the Laklands are amongst the most commercially sold expensive instruments
