  1. I saw adam use a purple-ish & sparkly bass in the last concert pics.
    new toy? looks good, in any case.
  2. I saw pics too. At first I thought "Could it be the lighting or the way the photo was treated?"

    But I have subsequently seen TWO different piccies... so it looks like he got one refinished. Maybe the dark purple one seen during the studio pics? Maybe the burgundy mist one refinished? Maybe a different one all together that was refinished?



    Do you know what show that was from? I'd like to see if there is YouTube footage of it - to verify.



    Whatever bass was refinished, hope it sounds as striking as it looks. Cause THAT is one great looking Precision Bass.

    The gold Precision and Jazz are great . But I have to agree that the purple is especially funky.



    Looks to have the same abalone-like fret markers that the gold one has. Love the matching purple sparkle headstock.



    I'd LOVE to have one just like it.

  7. I bought a Cort Action Junior bass guitar for a friend last week. She is quite small and used to strumming acoustic guitar, so the short scale fits her very well.

    This bass guitar fits in a normal electric guitar gigbag. Sounds really good, too. Soft and full, not too much sharp attack. Nice toy for me, great instrument for her.

    Jack Bruce and Paul McCartney were playing short scale AFAIK, too.

  8. Jack Bruce and Paul McCartney are two great and very melodic playing bass players.

    Listen to the new Beatles remasters... particularly the MONO box set. WOW. Punchy sound and the bass and drums sound far superior (even in the Mono box) to the 1987 CDs.
