1. The problem is that I can't get a double-delay going with the RP-250. No matter how I seem to set it up, it sounds muddy/crappy...either there are too many repeats and the notes just bleed into each other, or the level isn't high enough. I can't get it doubled perfectly the way I want to.

Am I naive in telling myself the digidelay will solve the problem? At least that way, if it doesnt work- and I've read some specific knob-settings to get the Streets delay sounding right- I can set the Digitech Digidelay to one delay time, and the RP-250 to another, creating the actual album double-delay effect.
  2. I hadn't noticed until today, but... One was bumped a hal step up on the American leg of this last tour! In all previous tours it had been played with G#m, C#, E, F# chords in the verses (a half step down from the album) - or in B key, if you want - , and it was bumped to its original key (C) from the start of the american leg (Chicago 2009-09-12)...... Why? Maybe to make the transition between One and Streets easier?

Pretty sure it was to do with the transition

  4. Yeha, I read your post in the other topic and I was like "NO! I have to check that out NOW!"...

I like it that way, mainly because I hate to tune down my guitars to play along

    Buy more guitars!

Hey, it's a good excuse to buy more, right?

  8. Me neither, until yesterday morning. I was browsing eBay Spain for some hot deals and I saw this one... "Hmm. Alder?? I don't know that brand"... I googled it and some important members of known spanish forums said that they're great guitars for such low prices, they're made in Japan and Korea and they sond terrificly good, they say. I will try it on Tuesday next week, if I like it I will get it. Bargain!!!

That's a great looking guitar, and although it's not a famous brand name, sometimes you get lucky coming across gems like that and can have a sound/tone all to yourself, because everyone else is too afraid if it doesn't say "Fender", "Epiphone", "Gibson", etc, etc,....
  10. Sound is all about taste, but when we are talking about the construction of the instrument, there are literally thousands of brands that make products that are superior to Fender, Gibson, etc...
